Lead Change That Improves Outcomes for Students

Register Now

Every educator sees opportunities to improve learning experiences for students. The challenge is knowing how to turn those insights into meaningful, sustainable change. This learning pathway helps teacher leaders develop the knowledge, skills, and leadership practices needed to identify barriers to student success, understand their root causes, and lead improvement efforts that make a measurable difference for students.

Through collaborative learning, coaching, and real-world application, participants engage in a full Continuous Improvement cycle focused on a challenge in their own context. Along the way, participants learn how to analyze multiple sources of data, facilitate productive conversations with colleagues, develop practical measures of success, and lead change efforts that strengthen the instructional core. Rather than implementing improvement initiatives alone, participants build the capacity to engage teams in continuous learning and collective action.

Participants will:

  • Use data to identify barriers to student success in their specific educational context and understand the root causes of those barriers.
  • Design and test change ideas through continuous improvement cycles.
  • Measure the impact of improvement efforts on student learning and adult practice.
  • Strengthen facilitative leadership skills that build collaboration and shared ownership.
  • Develop structures, mindsets, and practices that support lasting improvement.
  • Build capacity within teams to sustain learning and improvement over time.

Who Should Participate?

This pathway is designed for educators who want to expand their instructional leadership while remaining grounded in classroom practice. Educators looking to strengthen their ability to influence improvement efforts through expertise, collaboration, and relationship-building while helping colleagues create better outcomes for students should participate.
